Harvest Calculator was born out of a simple, urgent necessity: making water conservation accessible, understandable, and actionable for every homeowner.
In 2016, amidst severe regional droughts, our founders realized a critical gap existed. Homeowners wanted to harvest rainwater but were overwhelmed by complex mathematics and sizing requirements. They didn't know if a 500-gallon tank or a 2500-gallon tank was the right fit for their specific roof size and local rainfall.
We launched Harvest Calculator to bridge that gap. We built a precision algorithm and wrapped it in a beautiful, intuitive interface. Today, we've helped thousands of properties optimize their water footprint, saving millions of gallons of municipal water annually.
